A Gassy Puppy
Never in my life have I ever heard a dog burp, and I've had quite a few dogs. Ginger burps all the time! It cracks me up. Sometimes she'll just be sitting there, looking at me, and when she burps her little cheeks puff out. Anyone else have a gassy corgi?

My little guy (a jack russell / chihuahua mix, we think) comes up to me after every meal and belches - loud. I think it's his way of saying "Thanks for the food, mom. It was delish!"

Penny burps quite often after eating and/or drinking...and it cracks me up too...quite often she insists on jumping on my lap and burping in my face and I agree...it must be her way of saying thanks! LOL

Rosie can be very gassy. My brother says the reason that corgis are so long is because they are wind tunnels. =)

haha yes!! teddy after every time he eats his breakfast and dinner he always does at least two very loud burps! its so funny:) lol when he first did it me and my husband just looked at each other and couldn't stop laughing because we have never heard that before. hes the only dog i have ever known to burg like a human

Noodles will burp from time to time as well and it cracks my husband and I up. Sometimes Noodles can be sitting on the floor, looking at you, when all of a sudden his mouth opens up and out pops a burp. It is pretty funny and it always makes us laugh!

Casey eats her food too fast, and fills her greedy belly with air as a result. Then she'll walk around the house trying to burp out the air in her stomach. I've started "burping" her when she finishes eating (just lifting her up and putting a little pressure on her belly) because I'm afraid she's going to throw-up with her intense efforts to burp the air out after each meal.

Haha! Seanna does this too...so funny! She always burps after she eats anything, and sometimes after drinking. (Water that is...), but she kinda tilts her head when she does it. Thank goodness it's just burping...it's better coming out of the attic than the basement!

The funniest is when Noodles has it "come out of the basement", he will jump up and look at us as if saying "why did you do that"? It cracks us up when he scares himself, but like you said Jen, he can clear the room in a matter of seconds. Wow, he is sure potent!
