Harley is now 14 weeks old and she has been really good. I'm beginning to notice some things though... We were just playing a game of fetch with on her toys... she brings it.. i go to grab it and she snatches it again. I tell her drop, usually by the 3rd, "Drop it" she will. Well tonight she got aggressive.

She began to snarl and growl... attempted to bite me a couple time as well. Which really hurt with those puppy teeth! What do I do? I thought I have asserted my dominance with her but it seems like she may need some more. She isn't submissive to me but she is to my mom.

What do I do? I hope to start puppy training classes in beginning of January. A little late... but due to money situation its the best I can do right now... =/

Tell her NO real firmly and pick the toy up and walk away...no more play. If they let you take the toy...then let them have it right back...this lets them know that you will give it back on good behavior. Keep doing it over and over and hopefully she will learn you are not a threat. If she continues to snap and snarl then there are other steps to take but lets start with the lesser of them all. You can reward her with a small treat or just a real good belly rub.
