Harlequin needs a sport!

Hey y'all! It's Caitlin and Harlequin reporting in. She turns a year old in 2 weeks and I couldn't be more excited. She's grown up into a very intelligent young puppy dog. She needs a sport though. We were going to start agility this spring but then I came down with mysterious illness. It's causing me from being able to do overly active things with her. She loves to catch things. She's mad good at it... she's like a furry wide receiver. Are there any puppy dog sports out there that she can get…See More

What kind of food do you feed her?  Luna went through a period of not wanting to eat her food because it wasn't really fulfilling her nutritional requirements - so she would try to sneak the kitty food (not raid the litter box thankfully!)  I changed her to Merrik and she's doing really well on it and she isn't gaining weight as fast as she was.

Does Harley know the "leave it" command?  When Luna picks up dead bugs/lizards outside it seems to work pretty well.

Luna has reached 13 lbs already!  She's not gonna be petite... Sad, huh?

She is!! How is Harley doing?

Someone commented on her picture: corgis and homemade pizza? Is this real life?

How funny is that?

Luna has been doing wonderfully - I'll be taking her divider out in her home crate at home too since she's been doing so well in her travel one. She only had one accident at my mom's house - and that was because my mom brought her back inside before she did all her business!
She's doing really well on learning her commands - she sits real well, comes on command, and knows "leave it". That last one is real important because is really into wanting to find out what everything is, plus playing a little rough with my mom's yorkie. We'll be starting on down and stay this week.
She's going to see Santa this upcoming weekend at PetCo for a photo. I just couldn't resist the opportunity for that - I mean cute corgi pup with Santa - how could you not do that?
I'll be driving back home to San Diego today with her - it's a 3-hour drive from my mom's house, but hopefully she'll do as well as she did before. Hope Harley's tummy feels better!

Hi Caitlin,
I know Harlequin and Luna are just about the same age. It's been about one month for me and I know that you got your girl at just about the same time. I was wondering how you've been doing with her. How's the potty training going? I know that for me it's getting easier now that I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to let Luna out anymore - she now sleeps through the night easily without needing to potty until morning once she's settled for the night. I hope things are better for you as well.
