The more and more I think about Tuckers grooming, the more I am convinced the groomer did not follow my directions to NOT trim Tucker.  The part that is bugging me the most is his bunny butt.  It just doesn't look right!!!

I have a before picture and an after video.  The video shows up better than a picture does.

Here is the link to the video of After Tucker was groomed:

Not sure this link will work, but hopefully the file of the video I attach works.  I am not completely computer savvy but getting better.

So this is totally bothering me now, and there isn't a thing I can do to change it. It really is so annoying when you put your trust into a groomer and they blow it!!  I now have to wait for it to grow back, which is so hard to do, when I want it back the way its suppose to be now!! :(

Funny how I am regretting my decision to take him in and get rid of all those loose tufts, and I now miss them, I would love to have those back and have it right again.  Next time I am just brushing him myself, even if it takes me triple the time it took the groomer.

My question is how long will it take for it to look normal again?

What are  your thoughts on what the groomer did to his bunny butt?

Thanks for listening and I am all ears for your opinions!!

It looks almost like it wants to be a mohawk for his bottom. Everything is so smooth and flat except for the area under his nubbin which is full and fluffy. As for time, hopefully quickly. Much like when we get a bad haircut each day is going to feel like an eternity to get through (or in my case, all of the 80's. LOL). Hopefully it will be back to normal fairly quickly. :)

edit: Looking again, it sort of looks like he is just a really "blessed" boy with a very large "package" if ya know what I mean. It should impress all the corgi gals. LOL

Yeah, she trimmed the pants off him???

Oh yeah, and I was looking through my daughters photos on her camera of old pics of Tucker and ones from today and you can tell a big difference in his fur... :(
It does look different, she did remove his fluffy pants! It might take a couple months. Sid's fur took about 5 months to grow in, but that was from a complete shave, not just a haircut. I'm sorry she did that :(

He's been de-panted!  Like Gail mentions, though, they'll be back soon.  He does look better than my Nimh, though, after his trip to the groomers a few weeks ago.  I only take him maybe once a year to get spruced up and I asked her (I was trying a new place) to trim his pants a bit (he's a very fluffy fluffy).  It's really just to keep him a bit cleaner when I take him to his pet therapy job.  I guess I wasn't clear in what I wanted because he was depanted....alot!  He looks a bit dopey now, thank heavens for his fluffy tail!

I don't think it'll bother Tucker since he looks pretty secure in his awesomness but it's gonna drive you crazy for a bit.

I do not think it looks like a trim job at all. It would be round and blunt. I think he was going through a major shed and it looks like the groomer got the dead and shedding hair out of his pants (and he still has more to go). Then you will see the new coat coming in soon.

why does it look like the pants are gone except under his nub?    If she got all the dead fur out, then why does it look sooooo much shorter than what it used to look like, is that what its suppose to look like?  Since we have had Tucker for only 3 months, this is new to me.

WTH is that , some new kind of butt trim?

I am so sorry but I keep on watching the video and laughing because that is the funniest butt I have ever seen.
yeah I cant look...it really aggravates me that she was suppose to brush him not trim him.  Following instructions, how hard can it be, apparently too hard.  Here I was thinking I was doing a good thing, won't be taking him again unless I am right there watching.
poor guy, it looks awkward. it kinda looks like he hasnt been fixed yet lol
Tucker looks just fine, and it will just take some time for the fur to grow back. Just because the fur is gone, doesn't mean that your going to love him less? He is still a cute boy, and always will be.
