There's so much dog hair! I vacuum regularly and I used to be able to use an attachment to clean my couches, but it's broken, and I've been looking for maybe a little handheld vacuum to use instead, but I don't want to spend a ton of money -- I might as well just buy a different vacuum if I'm going to do that. So any ideas on a decent one I can buy to get rid of all this hair?

There was another post on this that everyone gave great reviews on and it was around $400.00 which is way less then what I paid for my vacuum. Wish I would of known it at the time. Try to find the post or holla real loud for Sam Sam the Man and he'll link you to the post.
Have no fear Wendys here..who needs Sam..hehe just kidding! I found the discussion.

I just use sticky rollers on the furniture... We have two cats and the corig and the sticky roller just takes two once-overs and all the hair is up. Quicker than getting the vaccuum out even.
WE love the rollers! Quick and easy and they do work for clothing and furniture. I would not recommend them for your carpets, LOL

You can get a multipack at Costco for a decent price. We go through them like crazy with three dogs and two cats!
Amanda...I feel your pain!!!!! Since getting our two corgi children...we have dog hair EVERYWHERE. My husband is NOT happy. But the funniest was yesterday when he found a dog hair in the ice cube tray! Yikes! Sorry I don't have any suggestions....just had to share the sympathy I feel. They're so worth the hair though.
You can now purchase a dyson for pretty cheap, starting from $140. Check out this link. My advise is don't get the new ball design, their "bin" is too small and fills up too fast, we've got the older DC 14 or 17 model, with 3 corgis and a 2500 sqft home, I have to empty it 5 times :)
Simple:
Do your stretching and yoga on the main throw rug (this involves a lot of sitting, lying, & rolling around on the floor).
90% of the loose dog hair will stick to your clothes and skin. Then go outside, shake yourself like a dog, and 50% of the dog hair will fall off outdoors. Repeat. Voila! 70% of dog hair removed.
Haha! Don't forget to wear polar fleece!!
Are you trying to say corgis shed? Why that's hard to believe! I heard they only shed twice a year...January to June and July to December...LOL!

Me, I've gotten to where I wear my dog's hair with pride......beats the heck out of constantly running a vacuum over you.
I seem to have been graced with an overactive shedder. I have to vaccuum at least once a day or I can see little yellow furballs flying through the air when the sunlight comes through the windows. I furminate (w/ furminator, I assume that is the proper verb) the crap out of little Cheez-it twice a week and that helps out alot. That allowed me to cut back the vaccuuming to every other day. I also have a centrifuse based central vaccuum so there is no wire roller for the cheez-fluffs to get tangled in, that is a godsend. Find something without moving parts if you can, like a shop vac. Seems corgi hair will destroy conventional vaccuums.
I keep seeing ads on TV for something called the Scotch Fur Fighter, it's sort of like an advanced lint roller with tiny little rubber teeth. I wonder if those things work!

I actually, after posting this, went and bought a Shark Pet Perfect cordless handheld vacuum. BEST THING EVER. my couch is CLEAN. That is, until Dax senses a furless couch and jumps up on it again and rubs all of his little corgi fluff all over it again. But for $40 it works great for picking up hair.
