Does anyone have suggestions for a pool for a corgi? I would think getting in and out could be an issue. I have seen some photos on the site, but would like some reviews, good points, size, how it holds up etc.

Corgi was about 4 months old? The other dog is Yodi. A rotador (lab/rott). A gentle giant.

Earlier that day corgi had his first dip in the Colorado River. He learned then that he had to use his hind legs to keep his fuzz-butt from going in a different direction...

I cannot open this. Is real player the only program that opens .rv files? I don't have real player loaded on my laptop.

The boring, cheap Kmart pool that sells for (I believe) Under $10 or $12 is exactly what we use. Corgi jumps in and out with ease, easy to clean, easy to move. Is our dogs best friend when summer hits.
I actually bought Franklin one of those big log plastic tubs you roll under your bed. It has worked really well for him. It has pretty low sides so easy in and out, and is long enough for him to plop in on a hot day. He loves it. It takes up a lot less space and still gets the job done of cooling him down on a hot day.
Ths is a nice idea for a small space.

Mine was not as long as this. Bugsy LOVED it! He could sit in it when he was hot or just get a drink.

tris do seem to get hotter, don't they?

Hey Melissa, does Franklin stick his face in too? and bark? Couldn't you just watch him be silly in his "pool" all day?

he loves to play in it. I live on the river so the pool is more of an emergency cool down, he has an overheating disorder so even the VERY short walk from the river to the house in the summer will cause him to overheat and need a dip in his pool. He loooooooooooves to put a floating toy in and push it under water with his paw over and over and over and over.....haha.
The little one looks alot easier to clean and keep fresh water in:)
Are any of these pools recyclable? I am thinking probably not. I want it to last longer if I am going to have to take it to the incinerator when it is shot.
I used to use a short cattle tank. This would be good for a long time. The sides are hard but mine jumped in.I can't get a pic right now as I'm using it for goat hay.
How about introducing them to the pool? Put them in? Let them discover on their own? Go in it yourself maybe?
