Corgi Quirks!!!! Let's have some laughs....
I thought it would be fun to talk about our Corgi quirks. I'm sure everyone has them as corgis are quite the characters!!!! Share one or a couple quirks about your corgi that makes you laugh or is out of the ordinary.
Pooh LOVED the blow dryer!!!! Loved! He would crawl in my lap every time and I think the only reason he tolerated bath time was because he would get blow dried after! If I didn't blow dry him or I ignored him, he would scratch at my leg or howl at me. lol
Copper on the other hand, HATES the blow dryer and the first time I bathed him, I got him out of the tub, held the blow dryer as far away from him as my arm could reach (he was in my arms) then let him sniff it. It's a really quiet blow dryer, too. I turned it on low and slowly brought it closer to him. YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT I WAS BEATING HIM TO DEATH!!!! lol I'm surprised animal police didn't show up and arrest me. He was Yiping and twisting and wriggling and it was sooo funny because he is sooo dramatic.
Copper is the actor and the self entertainer. He is dramatic about EVERYTHING!!! And if I don't pay attention to him he will throw the toy for himself and run as fast as he can around the apartment being ridiculous. He has also whipped the toy at me as in "Play with me, mom! I'm bored!!! lol I'm sure there is other things I can add later.

Corgi quirks...I could write a book on some of the quirky things Radar does! :)
When we first got him I had about 5 or 6 balls of different sizes. I would roll them to him and he would stop each ball, then
herd it over to the group of balls he had already gathered. The first time he did it I couldn't believe what I was seeing. So we
did this routine several different times. Radar would always gather and herd the balls together.
If I rearrange furnitiure and then bring Radar back into the room he turns into inspector Corgi. First he does the Corgi grumble
that things have been moved and rearranged...then he inspects everything to make sure it belongs there. One time we got
new recliners and I thought the nose patrol would never stop.
Radar loves to give kisses...if the mouth is not moving his tongue usually is.
Whenever I am sitting in the chair or on the couch and not really paying attention to him he will do one of two things.
Either nudge me with his nose or lay on his back and wait for a belly rub.
I know this is more than a couple, but as Corgi owners know life is never boring with a Corgi in the house!!!!

The more the merrier!!! They are just so funny!!! I wanted to tell this story really quick as I am leaving for florida in three and half hours and I still have to type up a list to instruct my boyfriend of what to do while I am gone.... (rolls my eyes.) Men. lol My dad has a front apartment on his house where me, Scott (my bf) and Cop live. Cope loves to go play over there and the other day I was standing with their front door open telling him to come home. He comes running full speed through their living room, doesn't slow down as he's out the front door and on the porch and realizes the end of the front porch is coming fast. He tries to put on the brakes and realizes it's too late lol He stops just at the edge of the front steps and down his front paws go. His butt went up in the air a little bit. He was stuck for a minute then he whipped his butt down so he was on the first step. Then he walked down the step and came right back up and ran in our door like he meant to do it. I was laughing so hard I was almost crying! lol I'm leaving him today for 6 days and I'm feeling very nervous about it. We haven't spent more than a few hours apart since I got him and my last corgi. Pooh, wouldn't eat when I was gone. My step mom and brother will be watching him during he day while my bf is at work so Cop won't be bored but I'm sad. I think I will miss him more than I will miss my boyfriend too which is terrible! lol wish me luck!!!

Skye is the same way with most of these things too. It cracks me up. She hates getting brushed and blow dried also! And shes afraid of alot of my daughters toys. She acts so tough but is such a weenie about everything. :) She always has to get her point across too she "talks" to you about everything. But we love her and she is so funny!!!!
