corgis and Stephen King?

I just got a copy (paperback) of Stephen King's book, "On Writing", which is a memoir of sorts regarding his writing career, what he reads, etec.

And there's a CORGI on the cover! a sable, standing under King's writing desk! Does anyone know anything about King being a corgi owner?

His latest book, Under the Dome, had a corgi as one of the characters! It was so much fun reading for just that. The book was okay, but the corgi's role was awesome. ♥ I don't know if he has a corgi, but he must like them.

That's "Marlowe" King in the picture. The latest corgi in the house is "Frodo" King

You'll find another corgi name “Daisy” in "The Regulators"

i just knew that someone (probably Sam) would have more info on this. Thank you. And i read the link to the article about SK writing in the park while his corgi was on duck patrol and he even included the typical Q & A (is that a corgi, yes, the Queen has corgis, I know...).
