My PWC is now almost 20 months old and she has been starting to eat quite a bit more. My husband says that he has been filling up her bowl at least once a day, which is very unusual for her to eat more than that (small butter container) in one day. Also, just recently she has been pooping in the house. My husband works until Midnight and she will sleep with me until he gets home. Once he gets home she will go out into the living room with my husband and the last two mornings I have woke up to poop in more than one spot. Usually on the bathroom rug and in the living room by a closet. What is causing all the extra eating and pooping in the house? Can someone offer me any advice? If it doesn’t stop I may have to resort to kenneling her during the night again. Thanks in advance for any advice or help!

How much does Zoe weight now? What is her feeding schedule like? What time is her last potty break and when did she have the accident before discovery?
I would say that Zoe is probably close to 22 pounds. When we had her fixed last November her weight was around 17 I believe. We dont really put her on a schedule and I supposed that is part of the problem. We just put about a cup and a half in her bowl and set it out each day. Her last potty break is usually around Midnight when my husband gets off of work and i could not tell you when the accident may have happened exactly, but between 1am and 7am!
Thanks for the info! Zoe will fill out nicely :) What I suggest is to split the feeding session into two, once in the morning and evening. That way you can time when her food will be fully digested and when to take her out. It will be a good idea to clean the soiled area properly and reinforce sleeping in the crate for now. Once her feeding and poop schedule became a habit, she'll be more reliable. Don't worry, relapse is common before 2. Good luck!
Thanks...I will see what I can do to prevent these mistakes!
You have been given excellent advice. Don't necessarily assume it's a housebreaking issue. Sometimes dogs get into something that makes them need to go urgently, even if the poop is solid and well-formed. And sometimes they get distracted outside on the last potty break and don't completely empty. Plus if she's eating more, she may need to go more but the dog-walker might assume she's finished based on her prior patterns.

We have had several instances of "can't hold it" house-soiling with our dogs, which I consider to be housebroken. Twice Jack went inside while we were at work because he did not feel well, and once Maddie snuck upstairs and went in our home office while we were home, because apparently she does not really know how to ask to go out but just waits for us to take her.

Good luck!
