Kaylee often licks my husband's and my feet/lower legs. Usually it's after a shower or exercise, but not always. I find it weird, endearing and comical. Also, it tickles. Does it mean she needs more salt in her diet or something? Do any other dogs do this?

LOL. Our beloved Corgis can have some very disgusting habit ; )
Yep....Butters has a foot fetish.

Permalink Reply by Amy & Rubi Rae on September 7, 2012 at 1:28pm My corgi does it too. She likes feet and will try for the armpits if you aren't watching. Also if I have just put lotion on my legs she wants to remove it. I think that the feet thing is grooming because I don't put anything on my feet. One interesting point is that my OTHER dog doesn't like it when the corgi licks feet. I think that to dogs it might be interpreted as "kissing up" and she will stand over the corgi and give her a hard stare until my corgi lowers her ears and stops licking.
