Foot Licking
Kaylee often licks my husband's and my feet/lower legs. Usually it's after a shower or exercise, but not always. I find it weird, endearing and comical. Also, it tickles. Does it mean she needs more salt in her diet or something? Do any other dogs do this?

A lot of them like to do it and it really does tickle. He likes to lick the bath tub as well but will lick feet in sandals if people can't get away from him. I hope it doesn't mean anything but don't think it does.

my mom in laws jack russel licks her feet and legs ever since chole was young. We figure its a comfort/grooming thing.

We notice it's usually after lotion is on Us,then they may lick.They like the lavender cleanner for the leather furniture We use more :)!It's an organic cleanner of lavender oil and softener.Crazy!

Sheldon loves to lick my legs / feet when I get out of the shower / bath. I just think he likes it

Mine will lick my and my boyfriend's leg after shower, I guess she just wants to lick the water...
and she also like to lick my hand if I just apply facial cream or whatever I apply on my face.
I think she will lick whatever smell she can get from us...

Juno has a foot fetish as well.. If you don't have slippers or socks on, expect him to be licking toes. hahaha It's amusing yet gross

Our cardi Bruce is a lickaholic too. He will just sit and lick lick lick our feet...legs..arms...the couch..the cat...his sister...stuffed animals. Sometimes it gets annoying and he has learned the command "Bruce quit licking!" And he looks all ashamed... But I sincerely think its just a habit..an obsessive compulsive tendency or maybe even a comfort behavior like thumb sucking. I've head of some dogs who Chase their tails compulsively too. Your pup may stop but we have just gotten used to it as part of bruces personality.

My corgi does it too. She likes feet and will try for the armpits if you aren't watching. Also if I have just put lotion on my legs she wants to remove it. I think that the feet thing is grooming because I don't put anything on my feet. One interesting point is that my OTHER dog doesn't like it when the corgi licks feet. I think that to dogs it might be interpreted as "kissing up" and she will stand over the corgi and give her a hard stare until my corgi lowers her ears and stops licking.

My Corgi does the same exact thing! To funny, I don't know why she does it all of the time but I don't think it is a salt issue. I just thought it was a form of endearment.
