Hi All,
So I just found this great website, unfortunately after my great friend has passed. He was with me for 13 years. My fiance and I had been talking about finding him a buddy for the past several months but he left us before we could find one. We are absolutely heartbroken but have come to realize how much we love corgis. We need help in this process. Any help is appreciated.
We live in New Jersey, have a house on the lake with a fenced yard and are ready to adopt as soon as possible. Peace!

I found mine through http://www.petfinder.com/ Petfinder is a non profit network that lists adoptable dogs in shelters and rescue groups all over the US. You can search by area and how far you are willing to travel, then you can go directly to the site that actually has the dog. It may take awhile to actually find what you are looking for, but looking can be fun too. Good luck in connecting with the one that is already waiting for you.
Are you looking for a pup or adult? Mayflower Corgi club has a rescue and breeder listings. They are mainly in New England and New York, but relatively close.
I got both my guys thru the Mayflower Corgi club. Max came as a rescue who was returned to his original breeder thru no fault of his own...the new wife didn't like him. We were so impressed with his personality that we contacted the breeder about any dogs she was retiring. That's how we got Katie...she is Max's niece. We got both dogs thru Crystal Corgis who is partners with Hersonsway. Both my dogs are Hersonway bloodlines. They are in MA, we live in NY.
Petfinder is also a valuable resource. We found our first corgi thru them and one of our 3 cats. Our daughter also found her cat thru them.
