House pissing corgi! Grrrrrrrrrr!

So Corky is 1 1/2 yrs old and he has been house broken for awhile no issues really, but we just got back from camping where we would be gone and everytime we came back he was put on a leash and taken potty to a certain area. No problems. At home he is contained in an invisible fence with a shock collar. Before vacation he would go out do his doody and come in, no problem.. Since vacation he acts like he is afraid to go potty outside on his own and will only go if i put him on a leash and walk him. He has gone pee in the kitchen every day since our return and refuses to pee outside when I let him out. He just runs to another door and wants to come in. I have stood outside and repeatedly told him to go, and he will after a long time, begrudgingly piss! I am really frustrated with him. Also, since he was a puppy when he pisses he humps his butt while he goes, I call him a little pee pumper, but I am wondering if he has an issue peeing? Anyone had anything like this bizarre problem?

Has the frequency gone up lately? It could be a first sign of an UTI.
1 1/2 is still very much a puppy, which mean they get distracted easily, continue to put him on a leash and supervise him, whenever a leash is on, that means mission time, walking promotes bowel movement. Check out my reply here, when accident occur, go back to square one. Good luck!

If he seems afraid of your backyard, he might be. Something might have charged him in the yard (since an electric fence keeps the dog in, but doesn't keep anything else out).

Also, a minority of dogs become "porch sitters" with an electric fence. Some sensitive dogs react strongly if they get zapped and won't go within a few dozen yards of the fenceline, just to be safe. It's possible he ran into the fence and got shocked and now does not want anything to do with the backyard. I have considered an electric fence myself, but my male Corgi is extremely sensitive and I worry it might have that effect on him.

An electric fence with a corgi isn't ideal. Like Beth said, some dogs are extremely sensitive to them. My Ella got zapped by a bark collar we had to use for our old basset hound and she is terrified of it. We can't even bring the collar in her sight with out her freaking out. If he was out camping with you I would get him checked. It could be a UTI like Sam said or it could be some other parasite picked up while camping.
