Atlas has a very consistent routine:
After my GF lets him out of his crate, he licks my face a few times, and then lays on half on my head half on the pillow until I wake up.
Sometimes Bear goes to his crate early and when I try to get him up for his last potty of the night I have to literally pick him up and carry him outside. When he is still half asleep, he looks like a zombie, struggling to walk and half open eyes - totally cracks us up.
Stanley likes to try to tug the sheets off of us with his mouth and if that doesn't work, he'll nip our toes. And as if that wasn't enough - he'll put his front paws on the bed and proceed to bark at me. Sounds like Atlas has a much sweeter way of waking you up :)
Leo has a unique whine sound when he is ready to get up. It is real quiet, but gets right through my brain and wakes me. Randy does a short bark that works the same way.
Murphy just runs up his puppy steps to get onto the bed and runs over to me and licks my face, my ears and anything else that is exposed and he'll also sit on my head and chew on my hair. Usually we have to wake him up, he likes to sleep in, so I think he's getting revenge.
I could set my clock by Tucker. He sleeps in his crate next to the bed - wtih the door open. At 7am on the dot he does a running jump onto the bed and usually right onto me. He nudges his way in to the best snuggling spot and savors the attention. If I am too sleepy to pet him he squirms around until I do.
When the crate door was closed I woke up to whining every morning - now I wake up to a stretchy snuggle corgi - much better. My boyfriend usually gets an ear cleaning or gets pounced on when it is time for him to get up - I got the better end of the deal.
Seanna hears my alarm and comes booking in, jumps on the bed, and gives me tons of "morning kisses" on my face, then lays on top of me until I get up...
