I have a wonderful four month old corgi boy...he is about 11-12 lbs at four months old. Is this weight ok?

I feed him twice a day about 1/2 cup for each meal. I don't think he's overweight, he has his waist line but I was just wondering what the average weight is for a puppy his age.

Thanks for reading!

Please let me know if you have any good advice as well :)

Usually puppies grow about a pound per week when they're little, but it varies by dog.

Thank you!! I think we're on the right track then :)

He looks perfect! Plus he's a boy, they tend to be a bit bigger...and corgi's tend to shift their weight around until they're about 1 or a little older. Don't fret! :)

thank you! Emma is beautiful!

i wouldnt sorry too much! you cant really overfeed a puppy from what ive heard. mine was about the same size at 4 months, hes a bit under 5 months now.. and he was even kind of small for his age, hes filling out very slowly. but your puppy looks pretty spot on for his age.

Ramji weighed about 10lbs at 3 months too, he's now about 15 lbs at 5 months old. The vet said that it's really about the "look" at this age...as long as they have some meat on their ribs and you can visible see a waistline.

Thanks for the info! McKenzie is so adorable
