i am going on a 20hr drive to go to michigan with teddy, any advice?

at the end of this month, after teddy gets his 3rd set of shots, we are going home to Michigan which is about a 20 hour drive since we have to take breaks because since Arthur is in the military, he can only drive 500 miles a day or 8hours. i really want to take teddy with me to meet my family and it will also let me bond with him more plus socialize him to more things. but the are only concern is how will he do and will this be a bad idea to do since he is so young? we would have some one to watch him but he is only ten weeks and we will be gone 3weeks(we haven't seen are family's since June) will this traumatize him?  is there any thing i can do to make the trip more relaxing for him? when ever hes in the car he usually sleeps. someone told me to give him benadrill so he will sleep but im not sure and should i get him a jacket since it will be cold and hes not used to that? it is very chilling in SC right now but i dont want the extreme cold to be a problem. im really sorry for all the questions but i am worried i will hurt my baby, i love him so much! thank you all!!!

We travel with our Corgis all the time. Starting when they are young is the best!! Our little girl who is 2 1/2 (we have only had her a 1 month or so) doesn't like it as much, but our corgi that we got as a puppy always wants to go with us! We travel 4 hours each way on the weekends and just stop a time or 2 depending on the time of day. Have fun!!!
thank you:) and your corgis are very adorable by the way
