Bear has a bad case of the itchies.  I'm wondering if it might be from giving him Comfortis?  We had him on Hartz to start with.  It worked to get rid of the fleas he had when we got him.  However, it didn't work well to keep them off.  We made the switch to Comfortis and he got his second dose about a month ago.

Anyone have any ideas?  I don't think it's a food allergy.  We started on Kibbles and Bits and switched him to Science Diet.  He's done fine on both of them. His skin is not flaky or discolored.  However, he is shedding like a mad man for the second time in four months.   Thanks for the help!

I've been using comforits on my 3 boys for about a year with no problems. After reading about it on this site, I also started them on the linatone shed relief--it's made a HUGE difference in the quality of their coats and decreased the shedding a lot.
Where do you get the linatone?
I did an internet search and got a good price on a gallon of linatone ( I have 3 corgis) on amazon.  I'm sure you can buy smaller quantities.  It's worked really well for us and another example of good advice from this site since it came recommended from another writer....
