Juno barking command & indoor potty? what's your opinion?

What's the best way to teach a dog to bark and quiet down? Juno(11.5wks) has started to bark INSIDE the house & starting to bark at ME when i touch his things or when he wants something. He usually just whines when he needs soething but he started barking. Sometimes my firm "no!" or "quiet" doesn't work and he barks even more. I know that he's a barking breed but I just cant have him bark in the house especially AT ME constantly he also especially barks when the mop is out; i tried to have him "leave it" as he's barking and treat but not sure if its working. What's the best way to be able to teach him to bark and quiet down as a command in general? HOw can i stop him from barking at me?

Second: what is this community's POV on indoor potty? Juno goes outside right now but i want him to learn to go in a dog litter box jus so he doesn't have to rely on outside when i can't bring him or if/when it rains. My friend was trying to tell me that it's teaching him it's ok to potty inside and thus this will happen in other peoples house. Is this true? I know there are people who have their dogs potty inside in a dog litter box. Will it be a concern that he'll only go potty inside and not outside if i start this? And what is the best way to teach him to use this potty litter?

We used puppy pads for Bento when we got him at 8 weeks. We had about 8 of them placed in his x-pen for the first couple of days. After about a week, we noticed that there were two spots he usually goes to, so we eliminated the other 6 pads and just leave the 2. Eventually, by 4-5 months, he only needed 1 pad in his pen.

When we're at home, we watch him like a hawk and get him outside so he can go potty, but we did leave 1 pad out in the living room because sometimes we missed his potty signs (we're only human). The pad in the living room was the toughest one to get rid off because by the time he gets to the door leading outside (which is where the living room pad is by), he couldn't hold it anymore.

At around 7 months, something clicked and he realized he should go outside to go potty. He started "knocking" on the door to let us know he had to go. This was great! Except we just bought a brand new box of puppy pads from Costco! :)

Bento is now 1 years old, and he goes outside to go potty.

There were two problems with the whole puppy pad use. We had to bring puppy pads to our friend's house when Bento's with us. All of my friends were very understanding, so it worked out. We had a designated puppy pad spot that we showed Bento, and he went there.

The other problem was marking. At around 6 months, he marked! It had nothing to do with his pads because he still used them. This issue ended when he was neutered.

I wouldn't teach him to go inside. It will most likely make his potty training more difficult and it's really unnecessary IMO. And really...have you seen (or smelled???) an adult corgi poop? It's not something I would want to come home to, litter box or not. Gag!
