Today we had the house appraised since we are refinancing.  The guy showed up a little earlier than expected, which meant I wasn't able to get Lance gated in the kitchen.  The door bell rings and the excitement starts, so I try and gate Lance and Tucker in the living room, which is right by the front door.  I let the guy in, and let Lance and Tucker out of the living room to greet the stranger.  Of course, Lance is barking up a storm, wagging his tail a mile a minute. I warn the guy that Lance could bark the entire time he is there, even with my efforts to quiet him.

I get Lance and Tucker gated in the kitchen, so that the guy can do his job without tripping over them.  Lance was a very good boy, making a liar out of me!!!!   He was quiet the whole entire time the guy was going through the house for the inspection!!!  Yes, Tucker was quiet, but that is no surprise. The inspector loves dogs, which is always nice.  The inspector was surprised at such a big bark for a little dog...lol.  I love the tail wagging a mile a minute with the big bark.  I told the inspector that Lance could make a liar out of me anytime when it comes to his barking.

Lance let out a little bark as he was about to leave and of course when he arrived, but he did fantastic!!!

It is nice having dogs in the house with you, when you have to let strangers into your house.  :)

Well, better be a liar than be embarrassed in this case.
