Marking Randomly

Sport has been peeing in very random places that he's never peed in before. I don't know why he's doing it. He's potty trained and usually does it after he comes in from going potty outside. He's fixed so I don't think he's marking. My sister's dog is in heat right now though...I don't know if that has something to do with it also. Does anyone know what it might be?

Neutered males definitely mark, and it is quite possible that being around a dog in heat can trigger it. There are neutered males who will (or so I hear) actually "tie" with an in heat female, so please keep a close eye, and correct Sport for marking.
