Monthly Subscription Box Plans for Dogs. Any good?

I just subscribed to Pawalla http://www.pawalla.com/how-it-works/ and was wondering if anyone else has subscribed to one of those monthly box subscription plans for dogs.

I haven't received the box yet. I'm hoping that they don't include any products from China in it. Is anyone subscribed to a monthly plan that actually states that all of its boxes only contain products made in the USA?

we subscribe toBarkBox, and it's amazing. proceeds go to shelters and such, and machete LOVES everything in it. i got our first box before we brought him home, his second is on the way, but now that we've tried out everything in the box, i was going to write up a review of all the products because it's great! i had birchbox for myself at one point, but canceled because puppy stuffs is way more interesting.

i also like finding out about new, local or US-based organic pet products and such. he ESPECIALLY loves his jax & bones elton octopus. we have to order a replacement soon for when he destroys it completely. he adores it! plus, i didn't think of this, but the manufacturer site says you can wet the rope tips and freeze them to soothe achy gums when teething is full-blown. it's a great idea!

Wow. Rae. The BarkBox selection looks great. I hope the one I ordered looks that good. I also love to find out about organic pet products. There is another subscription called Pup Crate that looks pretty good but when I tried to sign up for a monthly plan I was switched to the yearly plans and I'm still experimenting to see which one works best so I didn't want to sign up for the yearly plan right from the start.

I also used to order BirchBox for myself and it was pretty nice but I'd rather select my own beauty produts. There were always one or two I just couldn't use.

Yeah BirchBox just ended up with a bunch of crap that I never used. there was some other service than barkbox that i looked into, but one thing is the barkbox customer service people are so nice! and they're super friendly, too. plus i like that the sponsor shelters and such, so i think we're sticking with them for a while.

We're also waiting for our first BarkBox, thanks to Rae's recommendation, PLUS, I have gifted BarkBoxes to two friends who just brought home new rescue doggies, and I have a couple more I am going to gift. It is a very user friendly website and I am excited to see my (well, Bogart's) box in the next week or so...
