My Cardigan gets a little too "excited" in the car, any one have any ideas?

So I have a weird problem to pose to all of you corgi people. Wash is a Cargian, he is 1 1/4 years old, very well behaved with no strange behavioral patterns. But . . . whenever I take him through the drive through coffee stand by my house (and sometimes just on car rides) he will get an erection. To clarify, he is neutered and I've maybe seem him do this outside the car once. But every time I take him through that coffee stand the same thing happens. Is this normal? Possibly an adolescent trait he will grow out of with age? Any help you can offer would be appreciated. It's red on white, he's not being very subtle; I'd like to figure out if this will be a long term issue.

Hi Brandon, Wash is just happy and excited, it's nothing sexual. A real full blown erection looks like this, with "bulbourethral gland" at the end, if you only saw the "glans penis" it's not really an erection.

OMG, Sam, that was a little to educational for me!!! Solomon sometimes does what Wash does. I for sure know that Solomon is okay then. I never wanted to ask that question glad someone else did though!!
