Navy Seals dog stands guard one last time

So sad,

Petty Officer Jon Tumilson, one of the Navy Seals killed when their helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan on August 6th, was laid to rest over the weekend, and his dog, Hawkeye, wouldn’t leave his casket during the funeral.

Walter (my corgi), keeps a very close eye on where I am at all times. If their is ever a door between him and I he is always waiting for me on the other side. I'm sure a lot us here know how strong a bond can be with our dogs.

this is what i love about dogs, they are so loyal and loving and they dont care about much of anything but to be with you. i know what u mean about your corgi. i have such a strong bond with teddy its almost as if i can read his mind and know what he is thinking. where ever i go there he is and hes always there to comfort me. and like u said even if theres a closed door he waits and once i am out he acts like i have been gone forever. such loving creatures
