I am adopting a corgi (tri boy) in April.  There are still 4 of his brothers left for adoption and I was wondering if two are better than one.  I would love to here both sides.  I do have 2 cats as well so he would not be alone and hte only pet in the household.  But I didn't know if he would fend better in our home if he was with a sibling.

Also if two are better, how do I convince my husband to get another one!  LOL
Read article below.  Do not let your husband read article.  Wait until your boy is one year old.  If you still believe you want another one at that time, tell your husband your tri boy is lonely and would get in less trouble if he had a buddy lol.
If they are pups, I would recommend definitely not!  Puppies are hard enough to raise as it is, it is way more work with 2 of them.  It is also harder to teach them, correct them, give individual attention, etc.  I would suggest waiting until your boy is at least one before you consider getting another.  Here is a good article to read too:  http://www.mycorgi.com/profiles/blogs/should-i-get-another-corgi
This is exactly the information I was searching for but wasn't sure which keywords to use.  Thank you for this.  It's hard because they are so darn cute, but I think you are right and we will stick with one.  Thanks!!
It's not usually recommended to get two puppies because they can bond more with each other than you, not to mention the housebreaking, chewing, training, vet costs....etc etc. I would wait until he is at least a year old and has some manners before getting another puppy.
