Does anyone have a corgi with an overbite?  Calvin has a pretty big one and I'm not sure what is in the normal range and what should cause concern.  The vet seems to think it's ok, but I'm still not sure.

Thank!

My little Brody has a pretty big overbite too. My vet said it could be fixed but it would not only be expensive but traumatic. He said it really shouldn't give him any problems. So we'll see.
Ein has an overbite, he's 2 years old and the overbite doesn't affect his lifestyle at all--it just makes him look more like a fox!
My mom always says, "an overbite just means your dog can get the spiders out of the corner for ya" I guess it gives them a pointier snout or something??? :) If your vet thinks its fine, then it probably is. Sadly its a flaw that could be passed on to its pup's so you will more then likely want to nuder him?!!
Thanks guys! I really appreciate the feedback!
Our Tenby has an overbite. That is why he was a rescue, breeder just put him in a small kennel for 6 months because she didn't know what to do with him. Duh....neuter and sell him!!!!!! Anyway our vet told us the upper and lower jaw grow at the same rate so the overbite shouldn't get worse.
Just joined this website and spotted this discussion about overbites. Eddie our Pembroke was born with a large overbite which we had to get treated last year. I posted about it on another forum if you are interested.

Caleb has an overbite. It started out with his lower canines being well behind his upper. Now at a bit over seven months old his canines are about even. I've got my fingers crossed that it will correct itself by the time he's a year but I'm not holding my breath.
My vet said it shouldn't be a concern, just to make sure he has no problems eating and watch the roof of his mouth to make sure no sores develop.
