We decided not to dock a litter of pups born in Dec. I wanted to post a pic of how cute these guys are with thier natural tails! So glad we didnt dock!
Everyone who has seen them LOVE the tails.
ETA We have three bunny butts too and they are just as adorable :)

They are extremely cute, and they look very happy. Thanks for sharing.
I still prefer the docked tail but I am one who doesn't except change that well. LOL

Ditto. Cute with or without, but I still prefer without. Just funny that way. :)

heh, Yeah. I would have decided not to get Anselm's tail docked if I had the choice, but I still fell in love with him even with his docked tail. (Not sure if some pems come naturally without the tail or not in some cases) So that may be a factor too.
Yes..some can be born natural Bob tails. In the UK..a veterinarian has to dock tails and remove dewclaws and that is why they are trying to breed more of the natural Bob tail again. Baron, my one male, has natural Bob tails in his pedigree. In history the reason for the docking of tails was for uniformity since some were born w/or w/o tails. Another theory was not to mistaken the dog for a Fox out in the wilderness during hunts.
cool! those are really good theories! I really think it was probably the whole some born with and some born without, cause it's not like you can regrow a corgi tail XD but you can take the ones off that are there :)
they were also docked so they wouldn't get caught in farm equipment when used as herding dogs. I still wouldn't dock my dogs tails though unless they were working dogs. I think the tails are gorgeous!

Actually it's pretty much illegal now in the UK----Scotland has banned docking outright and England and Wales only allow for certain types of "working" dogs, none of which are herders, strangely enough.  You'd think herding would qualify as work.

We have one of each!Keri girl was born without and Merlin had to be docked.Still kinda like Merlin's nubby because He can control it and make it stand up.

How adorable! I love the tails and I love the nubs, you just can't go wrong with these little dogs. :)
Oh my, they are so cute! I just love them. Sidney is undocked and he gets so many compliments; I've never seen an undocked puppy and they are simply adorable.
I too, have never seen an undocked puppy before. They're so cute! With or without a tail.
