Lucy came through her surgery just fine--thank goodness--and so far so good as far as her incision is concerned. Her incision doesn't seem to bother her at all. Unfortunately, I can't leash walk her for another 5 days and she is going nuts without her daily walk (as am I). She is positively maniacal when I take her out for potty. She wants to run and jump and do all the crazy things Corgi puppies do..Today, I tried to walk her a little, but she is so eager to be outside, she pulls and strains so much on the leash I worry about the strain on her abdomen. Play in the house with her toys just isn't doing it for her. Any advice? Do I just ride this out and wait for the day I can walk her?
