Our first Corgi (Pickles) had both ears down when we got her at 8 weeks. We had a friend living with us and he silked her right one whenever she slept on his lap. Now, that ear never really ever stands up unless Pickles gets startled or excited.
Now we have a new 8 week old pup and her ears were up when we got her on Saturday...by Sunday her ears were down. The haven't perked back up since and I am keeping everyone from silking them.
What is up? Certainly not Peaches's ears! Does anyone know what the scoop is about the ear thing?

I'm not sure what you mean by silking...but a puppy's ears can go up and down especially when they're teething. If they don't go back up on their own you can just tape them for a few days.

I fed mine some gelatin, he took a beating from his litter mates. Now his ears are upright at all times : )

Here, it's in the FAQ

When I got my puppy, both ears were down.  After a while, they both were up and then one fell again.  She is 5 months old now and they have both been up for a couple months.  I never did anything to aid in keeping them up.  Just waited it out.  The breeder where I got her said they would go up or down dependent on the amount of calcium she had.

I don't agree with the wait and see. Just like Knox gelatin strengthens nails it strengthens their ears.
