Hello everyone!

so as I've been looking at Pembroke's and their coloring I started wondering, most red headed tri's look like just regular tri's when born? How can you tell it will be a RHT?

Thanks for your time(:

Here's a good link explaining it.  Scroll down to Amy and Marlee's post for some good visuals, but the idea is if the rim of fur on the inside edge of the pup's ears is red, then they'll be red-headed tri.  If the rim of fur is black, then they will be black-headed tri.  :)  Of course, this can be hard to determine until the pups start to grow and change colors a bit.

Thanks for the link and the information, it helped a lot(:

red headed tri puppy ears = all brown

black headed tri puppy ears = black tipped

Thank you(:
