I was just wondering if any of you have/have ever had any remote control type toys for your pup? I bought a remote control cat toy for Appa on a whim and she loved it. Unfortunately it didn't last very long. She needs something sturdier for sure and longer battery life. Just curious! :)

I have chased Lili around with a foot-tall Dahlek, though she did stand her ground pretty well :)  I suspect a cat toy wouldn't be as tough as a dog toy. Are there any dog toys out there? Except, of course, for this $300 model:

good grief, for that kind of money they could have at least made it attractive!

Snicker is too much of scaredy cat for anything like that.

hahah! A Dalek from Dr. Who?? That's amazing. And I'm sure hilarious.
I saw that go go dog toy as well when I was looking for remote controlled dog toys and it looks really cool but it looks like a painted paint-tray over a remote controlled car with a fuzz ball attached, lol. Wish I could make something like that and sell it for $300 bucks a pop. ;)

Remote control toy car. I got one for $1, yard sale. Wrap cloth around it. Add eyes and a tail if you want to get fancy.
The first time a puppy encounters one of these, it's almost as good as the vacuum cleaner.
Al & Gwynn got to chase a top-of-the-line gas-powered toy car once.

I was thinking of something along those lines. Not super cheap but not terribly expensive: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009ICKBU/ref=s9_simh_gw_p21_d0_i...

might do something along those lines. Thanks for the input you guys! :)
