A reminder to be extremely careful with prescription (or OTC) medications when you have dogs in the house: http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/skin-cancer-cream-killed-...

Apparently a skin cream commonly prescribed to treat pre-cancerous skin conditions is highly toxic to dogs. If you use a product containing fluorouracil  (brand names are Carac, Efudex and Fluoroplex), be sure to keep it in a CLOSED cabinet or drawer, well out of doggy reach. Don't leave it in your purse, in a pocket, or on a table or countertop.

Even a small amount of this stuff can kill a dog.

Yes, dogs are just like children and will get into anything and everything. Please keep all medications out of the reach of children and pets. I wish they would add pets to that "disclaimer".
