Shutting mycorgi online sound off while being able to listen to music

Is it possible to keep mycorgi open but shut down the dinging of mycorgi chatter? l would like to keep mycorgi open (quietly) and still be able to listen to music & sound from other applications.

In the bottom right corner where the chat is, there is a green dot, click it, and then click the "connected to chat" and it should take you offline!

Thank you so much Allie May, but when I do that, all the volume on my other apps are off too, including my music on iTunes.

Ooops, Allie May. Maybe I just used the volume box to the left of the green dot. I'll try the green dot and thank you in advance for your help. woo hoo.
