My corgi got spayed a few weeks back and she healed up nicely.  However, on her belly, where she was shaved, the skin is turning gray.  I am thinking it is just irritation from where the hair is growing back, but I was wondering what you all think?  I'm not really too concerned, because she seems healthy as heck, FRAPs all the time and has a healthy appetite.

Hi Bradly and Jenny, got a pic?
Here are pictures of it.  As you can see, the darker region is mainly along each side of the shaved area.  She also has similar gray shading around the nipples (which she had before the spaying).  There's been no excessive licking or biting around the area, and she was really good about it after the spaying.

Bucher's skin did the same thing after surgury.  Even with the cyst on his back where they shaved him.  It doesen't seem to bother him and the vet said it not to worry about it.
That puts my mind at ease, thanks.  Glad it's not bothering Bucher, and glad someone else has the same "issue."
teddy had that too. I asked the vet who did his neutering and she said it was nothing to worry about:)
