Hello everyone!

I am looking into getting some stairs for the bed so Webley can go up and down without causing so much strain on his back from jumping up and down. Can anyone recommend a good brand? I would prefer ones that were not plastic since they do have to be in the bedroom and I want them to look somewhat "cute" haha. But if anyone has any or knows of any that have worked well for them and were affordable, please let me know!

Merry Christmas! :)

Throw rugs with nonskid bottoms are useful.  We have a sort of footstool-thing, too.

I've thought about making a ramp, just a plywood box with a sloping side, and tack down a carpet remnant for traction.  Maybe a horizontal surface that could be used as a bedstide table.

Whoa! Check this site out - it has several different FREE dog staircase & ramp patterns.

These are inspiring! I feel like the I could definitely make one or two with minimal tools...

My all-time favorite, we've been using it for about 15 years, for dogs that were either too young, too old, too sick, too weak, or too short (she knows who I'm talking about :) )

I have one problem with the stairs, both of my boys will go up, but they both jump off the bed.  Anyone have any ideas on how to get them the use the steps going down?

I have this foam ramp - it's lightweight and moves around easily. I find the ramp is better to prevent future hip/back problems.

I had the same issue. I couldn't find anything that looked good and didn't take up a lot of space, but I didn't want Ella jumping up and down from such a height so we compromised. I no longer use a bed frame. My mattresses are on the ground so it is very easy for her to get up and down. The added bonus is there is no way anything can go under the bed so it stays clean. When we recently moved that was the only spot not covered in corgi hair.
