My little girl inhales her kibble, so I bought a Slow Feeder Bowl. It has dividers in the bowl that separates it into wedge shaped segments, with an open area in the center. When I first used it, I thought she was going to turn around and slap me! Since I already float her kibble in water to get her to drink more, she has to make quite an effort to get every bit of kibble. It has slowed her down to considerably, at least more than the 10 seconds it took her before. Sometimes I even find the bowl at the bottom of the basement stairs where it has been thrown in frustration (nah), or pushed while attempting to get that last little bit of kibble out. This cost me about six dollars.

I had (have) a Buster Cube that releases kibble slowly as it is pushed around. I found that it was likely to end in a murdered dog (canicide?) before much time passed. Since I do not wish to see my dogs kill each other, I put the Buster Cube away forever. It is meant for a one dog home.

I bought the Buster Cube as well. I had to put it away because I was afraid Lance would bust his teeth on it. He is such an aggresive chewer, he wanted to chew the cube instead of roll it!!!! :( He did roll it some but not enough.

Yeah, I have a food ball I used to use for Jack, but not good for a two-dog home at all. It's now just a plain toy. If I tried the food balls, I'm pretty sure Maddie would watch Jack push it, and then sneak in and grab the kibble before he had a chance!! Too much potential for disaster there.

We have quite the chewer at our house, cannot own stuffed animals at all!! This toy lasted over a year before I had to replace it, maybe even more. I would highly recommend this::

I am tempted to try the tug a jug but am afraid that the ball will get chewed up.

Really the only toy he can pretty much have on his own without interactive play is a kong, or a busybuddy waggle.

My favorite website to buy a ball from is www.planetdog.com. They rate their toys, we can only buy the ones that say 5 out of 5 chompers. Of course that only consists of a ball, so needless to say we have quite a different selection from here, lol. baseball, football, orange ball silver ball etc!! The football also is very durable...cannot be chewed...highly recommend that one for enteretainment purposes. :)

Well I dont know if I should say the football cant be chewed...the laces are rubber, those can be removed by dogs teeth...but I ended up removing them and then the ball has been good for the last 4 years!!!! The newest football we bought(last Christmas) does have the laces, I guess because he finally matured and will leave it
alone now.

Oh I feel you pain. My Tulip has destroyed "Guaranteed Chew Proof" toys in a matter of minutes. She can gut a toy with faster than you can say "Do you like you new t...." Gone. I'm lucky that she hasn't been destructive to anything but her toys. Even so I was at my wits end until someone told me about deer antlers. Real, honest to goodness (preferably naturally shed) deer antlers. I'm talking BAMBI. Not the whole rack, but you get pieces. Generally about 4-6" long, 2 inches around. They don't split like other bones, they don't smell at all, they don't mush up like a bully stick or raw hide. In the jaws of my tiny terror one can last a month or more. I've bought them on the internet, just be sure they are REAL natural antlers... not "Antlerz" which are synthetic-- I made that mistake once. Its' worth a try.
