Two corgis in San Diego need a home!

One of our San Diego Corgi meetup group members has passed away, leaving two pure bred corgis that need a home asap! They are living alone in their home :(

Edgar is a 7 year old red-white male and his sister, Maddie, is a 4 ½ year old neutered female with a beautiful honey-white coat. Both are pure bred Corgis, but John only left the paperwork for Edgar. They have very different personalities. Edgar is intelligent, and very active, Maddie is “the one in charge” and loves to play. They get along with children and are used to coming and going through a doggie door. We need to re-home these two as soon as possible as there is no one living with them at their home anymore. Please call me if you know of anyone who may be interested in opening up their home and hearts to either one or both of these healthy, happy little guys.

Have you tried calling Helen Woodward Foundation in San Diego? They are a wonderful group and may know of someone! They are located in Rancho Santa Fe.I wish I could take one or both but already have 2 Corgis and my condo has a 2 dog limit );

I know of HWAC well, but as good as they are I don't think a general shelter would be the best option for these guys. If all else fails, Corgi Rescue would be the option I would suggest. Thanks though!

Great news! Edgar and Maddie have found a home. She has been a member of Team Low Rider with me and her corgi had passed away a year ago, so she was ready to welcome another corgi into her home...and now she has two!
