So Jasper, like most Corgis, has always been very excited about food time and always cleared his bowl right away. But for the last week and half he hasn't been as enthusiastic about eating. I'll put his food down and he kind of looks at it and then runs over and starts playing with his ball. About 5 minutes later he'll mosey over and eat it. He always finishes it but just doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as he used to. He gets fed 3/4 cup twice a day at around 8:30 and 6:30 with a couple treats in between. I figured as long as he's eating I shouldn't worry too much. Maybe he's going through a growth lag (he's 6 months old) and just isn't as hungry these days. HOWEVER...
We went on a road trip to Florida (about 10 hours) last Friday. We left early in the morning and I fed him before we left. He's made the trip back and forth twice before and has never had any problems with his tummy but a few hours into the trip he threw up some kibble and then a couple hours later he threw up some yellowish foam which I assume is bile. Each time he threw up I pulled over and took him out to get some fresh air and he acted perfectly normal. I figured he just had a random bout of car sickness and he had no problems on the way home so I didn't worry too much about it. However, this morning before he ate his breakfast he vomited yellow bile again, I fed him and he was fine. Then later on today, around 5:15 he threw up bile twice, I fed him and he finished his bowl.
He did this a couple times when he was younger, but it was always before breakfast when he hadn't eaten for a long time overnight. He never acts sickly after he does this, but this coupled with his lack of enthusiasm for eating is sort of worrying me. Should I be worried or is this a somewhat normal puppy growing up stage?
