I got a large furminator for long hair since we are going to share it with my husband's future lab.

I have the older style of furminator, but I think it's considered the medium short hair version now. It works perfectly fine. I don't think you'd need the long hair version unless you have a fluffy.

 

On a side note, wtf at the furminator website...their main page shows a picture of someone using a furminator on the top of a dog's head...

i have this one Furminator Midium i like FURejector button on there. works great on Coby. :)
