Yup he's getting neutered tomorrow. I will be moving soon and I wanted to get this out of way rather than dealing with this + new place. He's 5 months young now.
I know there are plenty of resources on neutering, but I'd like to hear directly from first-hand Corgi owners.
Any particular cautions, tips, & tricks you'd like to share? Thanks.

Keep the stitches area dry and clean, use an inflatable collar for comfort, if you opt for a traditional e-collar, get one with a reinforced edge, the smooth edge will not dig and get caught in dirt / concrete. Cheapest place to get it done is the humane society, it'll be a good idea to get your microchip done at the same time, it's cheap and takes less than 30 seconds, remember to update you info when you move.
Franklin came home the day of his cryptorchid neuter (where they have a retained testicle, so the neuter is more invasive) and immediately tried to chase the cat! My point being, he didn't even know he was supposed to be hurting. The biggest thing is going to be to keep him quiet for at least a week. Also make him wear the cone if you can't watch him. He will hate you for it but it will save you a lot of stress and possibly money. If using the standard cone, you can reinforce the end with duct tape, it makes it more durable and is less painful when he bashes into your calves! Good luck!
