Aren't poodles supposed to be super smart? They have floppy ears.

Hmm, I don't know... my friend raises working/agility border collies and they all have these cute flopped-over ears. The Australian Shepherd I grew up with was also floppy-eared and super smart, while my elkhound mix had upright ears and was dumb as a rock (very sweet dog though). I think it just depends on the individual dog, and its bloodline. :)

Seriously, upright ears = IQ? That's interesting, I've never heard that before! What about border collies? I'm pretty sure I had a few of those in my undergrad classes... ;)

Both my old corgi, Boomer, and my new puppy had one ear up and one ear down for a little while, which I too find adorable. After a while though, it stood up. I think it always does. At least I've never seen an adult corgi with a floppy ear.

my puppy also has one ear down. We think that it is the cutest thing and kind of hope that it stays down. He is 5 months right now, so there is still time for it to do it's thing.

hey my puppy has one ear up and one ear down! and i dont think thats such a bad thing... just saying... lol... i kno her ear wont stand up either... lol...

Well he's only 5 weeks. So I think there's still time for the ears to stand. I think that both chihuahua ears and corgi ears stand. And all of the mixes I've seen also have ears that stand. So I'm hoping they'll come up on their own soon. If not does anyone have any thoughts about taping them?

Hey everyone. Bothering you with Corgihuahua puppy pics again. Autumn and Parker didn't get along unfortunately. And his foster mom isn't dying to give him up. So it looks like I'm getting this little guy instead. Let me know what you think.
