Yeah, I learnt a lot hearing about all the puppy weights! I noticed that Pancake is really underweight (4 months = 8lbs), maybe because of how sick she got (diarreahing and throwing up for two weeks).
It might have hindered her growth a bit, but now that her health is stabilizing she seems to be growing by the day hahaha.

Im starting to think the pet shop really liked about her age though.

This is Kilgore's best friend, a pit bull name Skye. Ironically, he does not seem to be in to hanging with smaller dogs, the bigger the better for him :)

I made a random comment about my puppy's size, and I think somehow this whole discussion somehow got blown out of proportion. We're not advocating the breeding of smaller dogs or mistreating our corgis or anything like that. Everyone, enjoy your dog, no matter what they look like!

Randy is having his neuter operation on the 25th and I will photo him and weigh him with a full grown female Corgi (there are 2 that work at the vets office) and will post it all. An 8 month old Corgi should be at least 17-20 lbs.

Mandy...do not be concerned. He is just right. As I said there is too much focus on this small corgi thing. 10 lbs in 3 months is about normal. Randy is 20 weeks about and weighs 15-16 lbs. He is thin looking and comes from a litter of 9 pups. Still I think he will be about standard full grown. Leo is 1 year and 2 weeks and at around 27 pounds is perfect for standard male weight. Do not think your Corgi is defective if he is not as light as some mentioned here as most of these light ones make me wonder how. Pictures look like my youngest and he is at least 15 pounds.

Boo I agree. I'm sure a few puppies from a litter could end up potentially smaller ie. runt but most puppies should fall within weight standard when they get older (remember corigs can grow up until they are 2-3, so the smaller one's could still grow).

Hi puppies! Olly is a 9 month old corgi puppy who is still pretty new to this website. He recently entered the online cutest dog competition, and needs votes everyday if he is going to win! The link to his profile is:

Please represent corgis, which are of course the cutest dogs (and especially puppies) ever, and vote for Olly!
