Sir Remington and I are out in the East Valley....Queen Creek to be exact. Is there anyone out this way interested in meeting up? We have one more immunization to go and then we can venture!
Maybe some weekend morning at the dog park at Chapperel Park. We might be able to get Amos Roth, and Skipper, who is moving here from Wisconsin on Mar 1, to come, too. Maybe towards the end of March?
We can't wait for the pet expo! to all who are reading this.... The Pet Expo is an event definitely worth going to! See you there Frank and Toby!! :D
If not before - the Phoenix Pet Expo at the Cardinal's Stadium is Sat, April 20, and pets are welcome. A great event. Toby and I will be there.
I have posted a discussion up so hopefully we'll get a few more biters!
Yes, lets! It's been a long, long time since we've been to one.
Lets have a PHOENIX meet up!!
If any of you watch corgis on YouTube you may have seen a most precious red and white Pembroke named Goro who lives in Japan. He even has his own channel, Goro@Welsh corgi. His owner is Sirowan. I guarantee he will charm you and break your heart. Sirowan has been posting videos of Goro since he was a puppy, and he is now 7 years old. Now he has some serious, but fixable, health problems. He needs surgery by the end of March, but it is very expensive, probably ove $10,000. Many viewers are so hurt his life is in danger and want to help. Maybe MyCorgi.com would be interested in helping this special little guy. From the postings on YouTube apparently CorgiPals has been contacted to try to set something up for Goro. His owner, Sirowan, speaks no English, so apparently someone at CorgiPals who speaks Japanese is trying to contact him. I didn't find anything on the CorgiPals website, but there is a posting and some comments (including one of mine) on their Facebook site. You would need to go to the "Posts by Others" section of their Facebook site, not the Timeline to see a link to the Goro YouTube video "Goro must operate for a disease" and the comments. I would love to donate to help this little guy, and want to do it safely (since it would probably be done over the internet) and in such a way to know that the money would go directly for Goro. I hope everyone sees this so we who love corgis can help this very special little corgi. I'll also post this message on the MyCorgi.com general site and MyCorgi Facebook site.
