I'm so sorry for your loss. I too lost my Tri, Daisy, on 8-13 and I'm still crying for her. She was a rescue and from day 1 was in and out of the doggie hospital. She fought long and hard to live but her little body just gave up and she passed in my arms. I know how hard it is to lose these babies but I have my 3 to comfort me. They too are feeling her loss. Take care and be well,
Rosamary , thank you for responding to the Lupus post. I haven't been on the site in awhile. Dash was given some Prednisone and it seems to be helping. We still do not know if is lupus, we didn't do a biopsy. They did do a blood test which was negative but is not as accurate as a biopsy. The Prednisone is a steroid and is used in treating lupus. Dash seems to be doing well on it at this time. He will be done with his meds in about 12 days and we will see if it returns. If it doesn't great but if it does I'm concerned with the long term use of the steroid. Its unfortunate to be in a spot that makes it difficult to place a topical steroid. If things change for the worse I will contact you for the info you offered me.
Thanks again.
I don't know of any play groups... I would love to find something for her! Ginny is so active and she LOVES to play with other dogs (and people, kids, etc., etc.,).
Hi Rosemary. Thanks for your comment. I actually don't live in Glendale anymore. I recently moved to a house in Buckeye. I'm a little interested in rescue, but my husband is really set on getting a puppy (of course from a really good breeder). Also, we're not quite ready to start planning it all yet. We keep having new financial problems come up since we bought our house, and getting a dog now wouldn't be a great idea.. for the dog's sake more than anything. When we get our puppy/dog I want to be able to give him the best without having to worry too much about money. Thanks for asking though! Anyway, if you want to meet, we have meet-ups planned in our Arizona Corgis group.
