Good news!! I called the shelter and he was still available for adoption. They put him on hold for us until we can go see him on Monday! If all goes well, we can take him home on Tuesday. Although, I'm not quite sure whether we will make the drive again the next day or if I will stay the night in a hotel or something. We might be getting a dog!! Very soon!

Thanks Chris n Gretchen. I saw them on puppyfind.com already and they are so cute! If we want to get a puppy though, we will need to wait a little longer because of all the expenses involved... Of course an adult dog will end up being expensive too, but the initial cost should be less I think. Plus, Pete is one of the cutest corgis I've ever seen! And this from someone who prefers red & whites!

Aww.. I found out King Pin was adopted today. Definitely a bitter sweet ending for me. Well, I'm glad he found his home.. I just thought that maybe this was the one. :(

Hi guys, i'm new to this corgi business but loving it so far, i was wondering if any of you participate in any kind of agility type stuff, my little Lilu loves to run and be active but I wasn't sure what was our there, thanks!

Oh, and thanks for the advice guys! I agree, life is definitely better with a dog!

I'll check out United Pet Care also. It sounds like a good deal, and I don't want money problems to hold us back from going to the vet if we need to.

Well, I tried calling right when I got home. I had to leave a message though since no one was able to answer the phone. Oh well. I hope they call me back...
