Lorre--you can and by all means should have it done at home if you feel that is the most comfortable for your girl. i have not used any mobile vets but i just called my vets office and they recommended 2 people. Dr. Cayhill 602.867.7100 or Dr. Ottman 480.205.6610. hopefully that will help you....

As for the meet up. My fiance and I would like to go, just depending on when and where. We have Mondays and Tuesdays off (and I'm sure no one else does) and we are usually free Saturday evenings. We've never taken Finnigan to a dog park before so the less crouded the better.

My brother had to have his Chocolate Lab put to sleep a few months ago and chose to have the vet do it in his home. The cost is slightly more but he said it was well worth it for her last minutes to be comfortable at home. One the dog has passed, they take the remains to be cremated (if you would like to keep them) and you will pick up the ashes in an urn.

the scottsdale bark park is super dead on saturday nights. total ghost town- so, i would recommend maybe a sunday meet up. early evening time, maybe 5-6? any sunday is good for me......
yay or nay?
they have 2 areas, 1 passive and 1 agressive. my mixes like to heard and nip so people have told me to go visit the other side. i look at it more like big dog side & little dog side. alot of people don't understand that nipping and being extremely vocal (as my astro is)- that he is not being agressive----he is just being him!

I would go too if I don't have class or work that day. A weekend would be best for me, though it's uncertain whether I will work or not. I guess I could ask for an off day. :) What about all of you? Haha, you know, I haven't even touched a corgi before... Sad huh? I hope I don't get overwhelmed!

I would be happy to drive to the park for a corgi day:)
Let me know when and where!
thanks

Sorry, I'm up in Scottsdale so I can't help you out with a reference in your area.
