Haha awesome! So many corgis showed up. I definitely want to go next time. I still don't have a corgi and no plans to get one can be made until next year most likely since we're coming up a little short on money for our budget but I can't wait until I can bring my corgi to these meetups!

mine don't like ice cubes either. they just kind of look at me and have that look of "and what am I supposed to do with that?"

PS what area of town is the next meet? like Fountain Hills or Phoenix?

I took a couple pictures but they didn't turn out very well. The dogs are either a blur because they were running around or their eyes are glowing.

I really hope to see pictures from the last meet up. I couldn't go because I had to work and I live so far away. We've been trying to save gas lately too...

I don't know why Finn doesn't like ice cubes. He's been that way since he was little.

The groomer is called Shampooch & Kitty Too. It's run by two guys who are both great and super nice and the staff is great too. They are located on the NE corner of Tatum and Thunderbird. For grooming that includes everything but a cut (since Corgis really don't need that) it's $25 plus you get a free tooth brushing the first time and it's $5 each time after. They made his nails short and neat, cleaned his ears etc. We added $5 to have them do extra work on his shedding since his shedding was so bad. The groomer said after this the regular $25 will keep the shedding in control. He said it was probably worse now because he's still loosing his puppy coat on top of it being shedding season. I was expecting them to want like $50 so I think $25-$30 for all of that to be done by a great place was worth it. They had him from 1pm-4pm which also freed us up to do cleaning around the house without tripping over Finnigan and having him bark at the vacuum. :)

Milo loves the ice cubes too! He can't be pulled away from one if it hits the ground! He growls at us if we put them in our drinks and don't give him one.

Finnigan won't eat ice cubes. He's a little unsure of them. :)

We took Finn to this little grommer up in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area and they used a special conditioner to get out the undercoat and it was great. Before we took him in his fur was coming off in tufts and you could brush him til the cows come home and the fur would not stop coming off. Since we took him to the groomer he hasn't been shedding and when we brush him there's not even enough hair to fill the brush. It's great! We always used to just groom Finn at home because I didn't see the point in paying someone else to do it but I certainly think it was worth it.
