Actually, in the discussion forum above, there is a post called "Corgi Meetup Group in Leesburg, VA" - which is what I'm talking about!

Hey everyone! Have you heard of Meetup.com? There is a Northern VA Corgi meetup group - the next meetup is February 7 (Saturday).
Here is the link: http://corgi.meetup.com/122/calendar/9147371/
Andy and I are going, if nothing comes up. We had a good time at the last one!

Thanks for the info. Looks like they are Cardi breeders. My dad is looking for a Pem.
All my corgis have come from NOTZMO kennels (www.corgis.biz) and have been shipped to Virginia from their kennels in Oklahoma and Arkansas. They have it down to a science and I have never had a problem meeting them at the Dulles airport. Sharon Nottingham is a pleasure to deal with and she has some puppies as well as young adult corgis available. I originally used a Virginia Breeder (Cathy Ochs-Cline of Phi-Vestavia) but they are no longer breeding.

OK, it's official. My dad and step mother are looking for a Corgi to live with them on their cattle farm. They lost their Jack Russell (14) a couple months ago and need a dog. The farm has never been without a dog. Usually there have always been two, but the Jack Russell wouldn't let any other dogs around after the Chocolate Lab died. So now, it looks like they are in the market for a Lab and a Corgi. One to sit on their lap and one to lay at their feet.
Anyway, I need ideas for breeders. Where did you get your Virginia Corgi? My dad lives near Charlottesville and works in Richmond. Any ideas? Thanks.
