Toby loves the garden. He helped himself to some of my strawberry plants and apples LOL

Everyone's comments and stories are great! Bunny helped herself to the cherry tomatoes that she could reach last year.
She also loves dry leaves! I thought it might be because most of her life, as a show dog, she lived in a garage with kennels that had pine shavings on the floor. They would open the garage doors for the dogs to have sun and fresh air even in the winter. She loves to plow through the leaves.
We tried a wading pool last year, one of the kid's plastic pools that are about 8 inches deep. She didn't figure out how to get in though. It sometimes gets to be a bit more than 100 degrees here in the summer, and I thought she might like the water even though she has shade.
I found directions and plans for making a garden roof dog house today. Growing plants on top of the dog house!

Lodie is a flower sniffer. When we walk the neighborhood he stops and smells all the flowers. Then the next thing you know you see him drooling and he gets this glazed over look in his eyes. I thought that maybe he has allergies, but I don't think so because that is the only time it happens.

Mine love the garden..sometimes its hard to keep it looking nice since they seem to think its an obstacle coarse for them.

Hi all! We live in an apartment so Toki doesn't have a garden but we lots of flowers and a big sand box. Her favorite past time is jumping in the sand and digging in it or throwing sand up in the air and then try to pounce on it. It's very cute, a passerby actually got his camera and started taking pictures of her. That was kind of awkward since he didn't even say a word to me about it, when he was done he just walked back to his apartment, never even said hi to Toki. But anyway, she likes pink flowers alot too, they taste good according to her. And she loves jumping in big leaf piles and fitting as many leaves as she can in her mouth and parade around with them.

HELLO, I'M NEW TO THE GROUP. MY KIDS HELP ME IN THE GARDEN. WELL, ACTUALLY THEY DON'T HELP, THEY ARE TOO BUSY PLAYING WITH THE BARN CATS IN THE GARDEN IN THE PLANTS. SOMETIMES IT GETS SO BAD THAT I HAVE TO SHUT EVERYONE OUT OF THE GARDEN BECAUSE THEY START RUNNING "HOT LAPS" AFTER THE CATS AND MY POOR PLANTS ARE TAKING A BEATING. MY STUD DOGS DOES HELP WITH THE WATERING. HE HAS HIS OWN EGGPLANT THAT HE TENDS TOO. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE COWS EAT WHAT THAT PLANT PRODUCES.

Bunny sounds just like a beagle we had. He would dig up carrots, eat cherry tomatoes and would eat the Brussel sprouts one at a time. It was so funny! I grew tomatoes just for him to eat. Le-Le only likes bananas and no other veggie. We are thinking of putting a little wading pond/pool in for Le-Le to cool off in this Summer.
