We went through the trouble of getting a fence, but didnt get enough to make a gate! So the garden is open for my 2 1/2 yr son to roam and stomp on Daddy's pea seeds and spinach! :( We put cinder blocks in the opening to atleast stop our African Sulcata Tortoise from gorging herself on our veggies. But the wall of morning glories infront if the fence we left helpless to her "pruning". We have 12 raised beds, each 4'X 16'X 10"(or 12" cant remember). I thought Thiago would be too short to jump in the beds, alas hes a jumper. The rest will be planted in mounds or rows, so we will definately put up the gate this year!

Leo just loves to be outside. He plays in the flower beds and digs. If we had a vegetable garden (we don't so far but might this year) I'm sure it would be his favorite spot to play. He loves carrots and green beans so these he would harvest on his own. So far he has not eaten the tulips, wonder if they just don't taste good.

Lisa B - Yes, my Brody loves rabbit poop!! He also loves cat poop! I really don't think the rabbit poop is much of a problem as it is digested grass. The cat poop is what I worry about. I have neighbors who think it is OK to let their cats roam the neighborhood.

I've put in raised beds, with walls 14" high, on landscape timbers, so they are really 16" high. Plus added a short fence around each one to keep Bunny out. With the fence, the height is about 3ft plus a bit. Easy to move, lite panels so I can get in the beds easily to weed and pick.
She has her veggie patch with lettuce, carrots, etc. and has been eating my asparagus. I'll have to move that too at the end of the season and wait three more years for some for us.
Since she's on a diet and half of her meals are water based veggies (green beans, pumpkin, lettuce (romaine is her fav), etc. she may think the vegetable garden is for her ; )
Everything is going in raised beds and barrels so Bunny can't get to them.
We're getting chickens again and I'm planning to use seedless hay bales to keep her out of the chicken pen.

Hi MV... I have 16 foot "Livestock Panels" that I put around my veggie garden. Otherwise Scooter will eat EVERY tomato I grow!! These panels come in different sizes. Some are all the same size squares, some are smaller at the bottom and get larger towards the top. T-posts are all I hold them up with.

Does anyone else have a Corgi that loves to root out bunny poop from the grass and eat it?? Is this a crime or a garden problem? Its so disgusting and I am sure it is full of parasites! Any suggestions other than when we walk I just keep tugging?
