Hello! I am from Montréal too and I think it's very hard to get a corgy around... Do you know a nice place where I can get a healthy a corgi? Thanks!

Hi Manon,  I saw your message about Winston running away. Welcome to the corgi instinct. Corgis are drawn towards noise, sound and movement (think playing children!) Some have better recall than others..ours do not! They would be gone in a flash! Keep an eye on him and always keep yummy treats around. That "come and get me if you can" game is typical from what I have seen with corgis. I always keep treats around when I know I have to get them back on a leash. Ours normally come but it really depends on the situation and if they decide they are having fun (or think they may be in trouble - which I suspect Winston felt since you said you were yelling at him) they are not coming near me unless I have something worthwhile.

As for chain leashes, try a harness which he can not get his mouth onto. We switched to a harness about 9 months ago and OH MY GOD I wish we had switched earlier. They walk wonderfully on them and one of ours who was choking himself to death is so much happier!

Hi J-Mae, there's a canine cafe in Montreal called Chez Brandy. Here's the link :

Hello everyone,
I will be traveling to Montreal in December and I was wondering if there was anything nice to do where you can take your dog. Are there any dog friendly restaurants?
Thanks :)
