Jennings is the only offleash beach in Fairfield. But the season is over for now. From Oct 1st to March 31st.

Is Jennings offleash? I work in South Norwalk so I'm familiar with the Fairfield area. I've heard Lake Mohegan is good, too.

We usually go to Lake Mohegan in Fairfield. Enzo loves the water! They allow off leash and dogs are in and out of the lake and waterfalls all the time. During the fall and early spring we go to Jennings Beach in Fairfield.

I go to one in Southbury frequently. Not sure where everyone is located in regards to this.

For some of you that are in the New Haven area, there is a nice park on the Wallingford/North Haven line called Wharton Brook State Park. It is exit 13 off 91 make a left off ramp and park is on left hand side. I have taken foster dogs there but not my Tiffy yet. I was waiting to see if I could hook up with fellow corgis and have some fun. I also have a book called Doggin' CT. and it lists some great parks in the state. Maybe we can find one that is suitable for quite a few of us.

I'm closer to the Danbury area but would travel if enough people wanted to meet somewhere else.

I'm in New Haven and I know I've seen at least two corgis over at Lighthouse Point. Not sure how much of a hike that is for you SouthWesterners... I may head there this Saturday for anyone interested!
